Sex attack
Joseph Rees, 19, pounced on the girl and threatened to kill her while she was on her way to a friend’s house in broad daylight.
A judge at Cardiff Crown Court gave Rees an indeterminate sentence, of which he must serve six and a half years before he can be considered for release, for the act of “repulsive wickedness”.
The court heard he had a history of troubling behaviour and had set fire to his brother’s cot when he was just three years old.
