Victoria Beckham to appear as judge on American Idol show

VICTORIA BECKHAM is to appear as a judge on American Idol, her spokeswoman said.

The Spice Girl turned fashion designer has agreed to make a “one-off appearance”, the publicist confirmed.

There has been speculation that the 35-year-old could be lined up as a full-time replacement for Paula Abdul, 47, who announced her departure as a judge on the TV singing contest on Twitter.
