Britain in crisis talks on Mugabe
Miliband will meet his opposite number Nkosazan Dlamini Zuma tomorrow in Pretoria as part of the South African-British bilateral summit, with Zimbabwe on the agenda. Earlier this week, an African Union summit agreed to “the call for the creation of a government of national unity” in Zimbabwe, between Mugabe and opposition leader Morgan Tsavangirai. London has said that Mugabe must not be part of any power-sharing deal with the opposition if the African country is to receive economic aid from Britain.
