Ronaldo’s mother in kiss-and-tell

CRISTIANO Ronaldo’s mum has insisted the kisses he blows to the crowd are for her and his sisters and not his new girlfriend.

The Manchester United striker’s family have taken Spanish model Nereida Gallardo under their wing since they began dating at the start of the year.

But proud Dolores Aveiro says people are going too far by assuming he is aiming his affections at the 24-year-old brunette.

Cristiano, 23, has been pictured recently blowing kisses towards the VIP section of the Old Trafford crowd whenever he scores.

His penalty on Sunday against Arsenal took his season’s goal tally so far to 38.

Dolores, who regularly travels from her native Madeira to watch Cristiano play, insisted: “They say the kisses he blows are for his girlfriend but I also go to the stadium. The kisses are for his family.”

Cristiano and Nereida have been dating since early February when they met in a nightclub in Majorca.

The Spanish beauty divides her time between the striker’s luxury home in Cheshire and Palma where she is a part-time model and student.

She has already met Cristiano’s sisters Katia, nicknamed Ronalda, and Elma.

Ronaldo’s friend Daniel Nascimento, who dined with the couple recently at a restaurant in Lisbon, said: “She’s very friendly and down-to-earth.”
