Woman quizzed as bodies of 4 youngsters found in flat

WHEN Larry Jones noticed a foul odour coming through a vent in his apartment, he put it down to dead mice and spoke to his landlord.

It wasn’t until last Wednesday, when US Marshals delivered an eviction notice next door, that he learned the real source of the stench: the decomposing bodies of four young people.

Investigators believe the bodies had been there at least two weeks, but it was unclear exactly how and when the victims died, said police chief Cathy Lanier.
