Teacher ‘had oral sex in school minibus’
Married father-of-two Andrew Riley, 36, took advantage of the 18-year-old A-level student while he was head of sixth form at Baines High School in Poulton, Lancashire, Preston Crown Court was told.
The defendant twice took the girl to hotels in Manchester and, after drinking champagne, offered her cocaine before they had sex, the jury was told.
Riley, of Wentworth Drive, Lancaster, denies two counts of an abuse of trust and sexual activity with a child and a single count of offering to supply cocaine.
The jury heard that he took £200 of cocaine on an overnight school trip to a university in Oxford, which he then took to the hotel the first time he stayed with the girl.
Riley told officers he “emphatically denies” having sex with the teenager or supplying her with cocaine.
