Man accused of shoving phone down girl’s throat

A JEALOUS boyfriend went on trial yesterday for shoving a mobile phone down his girlfriend’s throat.

But Marlon Brando Gill’s defence team claimed Melinda Abell had swallowed the phone on purpose to prevent him seeing who she had been calling.

The 25-year-old had to have it removed in hospital.
