Zimbabwean government reject poll

THE Zimbabwean government dismissed an opposition boycott of upcoming elections and denied opposition charges that polling conditions were unfair and voters were intimidated, state radio reported.

Justice Minister Patrick Chinamasa said electoral reforms proposed by the government ahead of key parliament polls in March conformed with regional standards.
