Surgeon Sachs limited
The New York State Health Department disciplinary action also put Sachs’ medical licence on probation for three years and required him to take refresher courses.
Sachs, regularly quoted as an expert in beauty magazines and on TV shows, didn’t challenge the charge of negligence in the treatment of an unidentified patient more than a decade ago.
“On repeated occasions between May 1985 and December 1993, [Sachs] treated patient A inappropriately over the course of multiple nasal surgical procedures,” the state claimed.
