This is the latest deal Alltracel has signed for its products in recent months following licensing agreements in Italy, Germany and the US.

As part of the Boots deal Alltracel will supply five products to stop bleeding, which will be marketed under the Boots brand.

Alltracel’s chief operating officer Donal O’Brien said: “The Boots brand endorsement of the mdoc stops- bleeding-technology platform is another significant milestone in becoming a standard in the consumer first aid market.”

Separately, Alltracel announced yesterday that fourth quarter revenue grew by 73% to €412,000 and that revenues for the whole of 2003 will rise by 61% to over €1 million.

“These distribution gains are now translating into significantly growing revenue.

“We expect this revenue growth to accelerate in the first quarter of 2004 and to continue to increase throughout the year primarily as a result of future US product listings and shipments,” Mr O’Brien said.

He said that Alltracel has made significant market share gains in the first-aid sector during the fourth quarter of 2003, particularly in the British and US markets.

The markets reacted positively to the announcements by Alltracel, sending the company’s shares, traded on London’s Alternative Investment Market, up near 7% to 39p yesterday.
