DVD driver denies murder charge

WHEN a pickup truck crossed a double yellow line and killed two occupants of a Jeep in Anchorage, Alaska, police initially thought the accident was a tragic accident.

Then they spotted the dashboard DVD player.

Prosecutors have accused the driver of second-degree murder for watching a movie instead of the road when he crashed.

The pickup’s driver, Erwin Petterson, denies using the DVD player and says he was only listening to a CD, said his lawyer, Chuck Robinson.
