Triple murder suspect held for questioning

DETECTIVES were last night questioning a man in connection with the murders of a woman and her two children at a seaside hotel in England.

Patricia Jarvis, 36, and her two children John, 11, and eight-year-old Stuart, were found at the Winslow Hotel in Hull Road, Blackpool, Lancashire.

Post-mortem examinations revealed they had been stabbed.

Police arrested a 42-year-old man, thought to be the husband and father of those killed, after they stormed the hotel at about 8am last Thursday. He was taken to hospital.

A police spokeswoman said yesterday: “Following his release from hospital, he is now in custody at Blackpool police station and he is expected to be questioned today.”

The boys’ 13-year-old sister, who has not been named, was found unhurt in the hotel, which the family ran after moving from South Africa three months ago.
