Algeria blast kills 17

A GAS explosion in an Algerian apartment building killed 17 people and left about 30 injured.

explosion, caused by a gas leak in the building’s ground floor, occurred at about in the town of Ain Defla in the Guelma region, 280 miles east of the capital.
