Killian Phillips added to Ireland  squad for Nations League games

Heimir Hallgrímsson has added St Mirren midfielder Killian Phillips to Ireland's squad for the upcoming window of four UEFA Nations League fixtures. 

Midfield duo Jamie McGrath (Hibernian) and Harvey Vale (Queens Park Rangers) have been forced to withdraw from the squad due to injuries sustained while on club duty over the weekend.

Phillips will link up with the squad in Dublin today before the traveling party departs for Pristina for the match against Kosovo on Thursday, September 24.

Ireland then travel to Debrecen, Hungary, to face Israel, before returning to Dublin for a home tie against Austria at the Aviva Stadium. The window concludes with a second fixture against Israel, set to be played in Bačka Topola, Serbia.
