Alix Mendez has completed her move to Aberdeen from Cork City.
Mendez missed just three matches for the Leesiders in 2024 as they reached both national cup semi-finals, earning her a move to the Scottish Premier League club.
A right-sided defender who can also operate at wing-back, the Cork native goes straight into Scott Booth’s squad and is available for Wednesday night’s game against Partick Thistle at the Balmoral.

“I am really happy to be at Aberdeen, I think this is the place for me to develop and continue my career," Mendez told the club's official website.
“I can’t wait to get going and I am really looking forward to Wednesday night.”
Manager Scott Booth added: “Alix is a versatile young player who will bring even more competition to the squad. I am looking forward to working with her.”
