Ederson axed for Man City as Slot forced into defensive change

Pep Guardiola has axed goalkeeper Ederson for the trip to Anfield to play Liverpool this afternoon.
After a poor outing against Feyenoord in midweek, the Brazilian keeper makes way for Stefan Ortega. Ruben Dias also returns in place of Josko Gvardiol, who has made several mistakes in recent weeks.Â
Jack Grealish also drops to the bench.
Arne Slot has been forced to change his defence for the top of the table clash.
With Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley both picking up injuries in the Champions League win over Real Madrid, in come Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez.
Caoimhin Kelleher continues in goal. Ryan Gravenberch stays in midfield, alongside Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.
