Chiedozie Ogbene set to miss rest of season after surgery on Achilles injury, Ipswich confirm

"Chieo had surgery on an Achilles tear yesterday and it went well. It's unlikely that he'll play any more football this season, though," said manager Kieran McKenna.

Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has confirmed that Chiedozie Ogbene is likely to be out for the rest of the season.

The Cork native was stretchered off during Ipswich's Premier League fixture away to Brentford last weekend with an Achilles injury.
