Republic of Ireland international Megan Connolly has signed for S.S. Lazio on a free transfer.
The Cork native, who began her career at College Corinthians, joins the Rome club following the expiration of her contract with Women's Championship side Bristol City.
The 27-year-old could make her debut for Lazio when they take on their fierce rivals Roma in the opening game of the new Serie A season on August 30.
Connolly could even link-up with her new teammates in Spain as they prepare to contest the Ramón de Carranza Trophy final with Cádiz CF on Saturday night.
"The S.S. Lazio Women announces that Megan Connolly is a new Biancocelesti player," the club posted on their website, translated from Italian.
"Born in 1997, during her career Connolly can boast important experience in the English top flight with the shirts of Bristol City and above all Brighton, a club where she collects about sixty appearances over four seasons.
"The Irish footballer also has forty-three appearances and four goals with her national team with which she made her debut at the age of nineteen on January 23, 2016.
