FAI hold off enforcing summer football on sceptics

The intended completion of moving all the games programmes from U8s up to intermediate level is 2026 but already resistance has come from various areas.

In keeping with the FAI’s propensity for delays, the enforceability factor of their summer football quest won’t be known until later in the year.

Thursday night’s meeting of the association’s General Assembly was the first time for that 145-body strong body to offer their views in a national forum.
