John O’Shea's stint in interim charge of Ireland has been extended to include June's international friendlies against Hungary and Portugal. 

Director of football Marc Canham, in an in-house interview last week, said the FAI now hope to have a new permanent manager in place for the Nations League fixture against England in September.
