Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Paul Clement have switched from being linked with the Ireland managerial vacancy to becoming targets for Canada.

Having reached their first World Cup in 36 years last time, the Canadians want to make a splash at the next version – the 2028 showpiece they’re co-hosting with the USA.
