Manchester United to host Newcastle in Carabao Cup fourth round

While Mikel Arteta's side were handed another London derby on the road, at least two lower-league sides will make it to the quarter-finals

Manchester United will host Newcastle United in a repeat of last year's final after the Carabao Cup Fourth Round draw threw up some fascinating ties and ensured at least two lower-league teams will make it to the quarter final. 

Erik ten Hag's reigning holders were handed a home tie against the Magpies after Eddie Howe's side stunned Manchester City at St. James's Park on Wednesday. 

Meanwhile Mikel Arteta's Arsenal were handed Premier League opposition again with another London derby on the road their reward for winning at Brentford. They will now face West Ham in the next round. 

Sean Dyche and Everton will host his former side Burnley while Mansfield meet Port Vale and Exeter host Middlesbrough, those two latter ties all involving non-Premier League sides.

Carabao Cup, Fourth Round Draw: Mansfield v Port Vale, Ipswich Town v Fulham, Man Utd v Newcastle Utd, Bournemouth v Liverpool, Chelsea v Blackburn Rovers, West Ham v Arsenal, Everton v Burnley, Exeter v Middlesbrough; Ties will be played on 31 October and 1 November.
