Ian Holloway posts video apologising to QPR fans who left game early
QPR boss Ian Holloway has apologised in a video posted on social media after criticising the club's fans for leaving last night's home draw against Brentford early.
Thousands of Rangers supporters missed Holloway's side hit back from 2-0 down in stoppage time against their local rivals with last-gasp goals from Matt Smith and Luke Freeman snatching them a point.
Loftus Road was half empty when Freeman bundled home his equaliser, prompting Holloway to take a swipe at those who chose to leave early in his post-match interview.
But Holloway's tone was more concillatory in a video Rangers later posted on their official Twitter site.
"I'm ready to fight and I need you to fight with me, that's all," he said. "So I'm sorry. You are a real QPR fan, of course you are.
"But I'm a passionate man, I always have been and I've got to get my team passionate. They're not giving up.
"I don't want you to. You missed a wonderful moment. It was wonderful. I'll take that all day long. I can't wait for the next game against them.

"What can I say? There's a big debate on Five Live and for me as an overall football person, I understand the travelling you've got to do and the expense you've got. I fully respect that and I want to give you value for money."
Holloway had the last laugh on Brentford fans, who chanted 'you're getting sacked in the morning' and wished his own club's supporters had stayed to see the turnaround.
"All I'm trying to say is I wish you'd seen the change - how the gloating turned to pain and we inflicted that and I wanted you to see that," he added.
"So I apologise if that's how you feel. It wasn't meant that way. If you can't forgive me what can I do?
"I'm saying you're a supporter and I need your support and my team needs your support. Thanks for coming, you missed one hell of a moment."
