Sergio Aguero made amends for two penalty misses by firing a hat-trick as Manchester City cruised into a 5-0 first-leg lead in their Champions League play-off against Steaua Bucharest in Romania.

Argentinian Aguero squandered two first-half penalties but registered with a fine finish before the break and struck twice more in the second half, while David Silva and Nolito were also on target for Pep Guardiola's side.
