WATCH: Arsene Wenger nails the crossbar challenge

Nicely done Arsene, have you considered giving yourself a squad number?

Maybe Arsene Wenger should look in the mirror the next time he wants to unearth a footballing hero to rescue the Gunners.

The Arsenal manager showed he might have what it takes earlier this week - when he absolutely nailed the crossbar challenge.

The whole squad were taking part in the challenge during Arsenal’s Member’s Day at the Emirates Stadium on Monday.

Wenger, suitably attired in shorts and sweatshirt, was out on the pitch with the players.

While the cameramen were getting ready to film, a fan in the stands recorded Wenger casually having a go himself.

The 65-year-old tossed the ball into the air, before controlling it with his knee and volleying it directly onto the crossbar.

Nicely done Arsene, have you considered giving yourself at squad number?
