Andy Keogh fined by Perth Glory following arrest
Andy Keogh has been fined half a week’s wages by Perth Glory, following his arrest outside a nightclub in Adelaide at the weekend.
The player went out drinking with a teammate, Josh Risdon, on Sunday night. Their evening ended with Keogh being arrested for causing a disturbance and Risdon was also arrested - for refusing to follow police direction and leave the area.

It is thought Keogh’s fine will amount to less that €2000. Risdon was also fined, but in his case the fine was suspended for the remainder of the season.
In a statement on the Perth Glory website Keogh apologised for his behaviour.

“I would like to sincerely apologise to our fans and sponsors, to our playing group and Club executive for my poor judgement and behaviour,” Keogh said.
“I realise my actions have embarrassed the Club and I deeply regret the events that transpired in Adelaide.”
The 28-year-old, who has made 30 senior appearances for the Republic of Ireland, has been with the Australian club since May 2014.
Both players will also have to appear in Adelaide Magistrate’s court in March, according to Perth Now.
