Pellegrini open to Gerrard move

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has refused to rule out a move for Steven Gerrard if the former England captain fails to agree new terms with Liverpool.

Gerrard’s existing contract with the Reds ends in June but Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers remains confident the 34-year-old will stay on at Anfield beyond the end of the current season.
