Pellegrini backs Balotelli to excel at Anfield

Mario Balotelli is on his way to Liverpool to undergo a medical and put the finishing touches on his £16m move from AC Milan.

The Italian international is understood to have agreed personal terms with the Reds and stands to earn up to £90,000 per week after tax.
