Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has stressed that he believes the club’s summer deals for Frank Lampard and Bacary Sagna were conducted correctly in response to recent comments from Arsene Wenger.
Over the last few days Wenger, whose Arsenal side play City at Wembley on Sunday in the Community Shield, has questioned both signings.
