Streaker is a one-man crossbar challenge for stewards

It took four security guards to pull this football fan off the goals last night.

Salford City took on a Man United “Class of ‘92” selection last night and beat them 5-1.

The game was interrupted several times by streakers and autograph hunters taking the chance to get up close and personal with legends Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes, amongst others.

But this pitch invader, who appeared during the second half, was particularly persistent.

Hanging on to the crossbar for dear life, it took the combined effort of four stewards to drag him off the field.

He lost a shoe during his struggle with security and had apparently lost his trousers at an earlier stage of the evening.
