Former Spurs striker Jermain Defoe was left eating humble pie in his side's MLS game recently.

After winning a free kick in a match against the New York Red Bulls, the Toronto FC player assumed he was taking it.

However, Gilberto had other ideas leading to a bit of a scuffle between the pair.

Fortunately for Toronto, Defoe relented and was left humiliated afterwards before he redeemed himself with his reaction.
