Shaw set for United medical

Manchester United’s rebuilding project continues apace, with Luke Shaw due to have a medical ahead of a proposed move from Southampton.

Having completed the signing of Ander Herrera earlier on Thursday, it now seems as if the highly-rated 18-year-old defender will soon be following the Spaniard into Old Trafford.

It is understood that Shaw is due to have a medical at the club’s training ground as his much-mooted move to United edges closer.
