Hughes fined £8,000 but escapes ban

Stoke boss Mark Hughes has been fined £8,000 by the Football Association after being admitting a charge of improper conduct following his touchline dismissal at Newcastle.

Hughes was sent to the stands in his side’s 5-1 Premier League loss at St James’ Park on Boxing Day.
