Coutinho set for Liverpool return

Playmaker Philippe Coutinho is set to return to the starting line-up against Norwich at Anfield after only being fit enough for a place on the bench for Sunday’s defeat at Hull.

After conceding three goals for the second successive game manager Brendan Rodgers is likely to change his defence with Kolo Toure the man who will probably make way for Daniel Agger, who was dropped at the KC Stadium.

Forward Iago Aspas was an unused substitute at Hull after returning to the squad after injury but after disappointing performances from Victor Moses and Raheem Sterling he may get a chance with striker Daniel Sturridge out until next month.

Provisional squad: Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Flanagan, Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Suarez, Aspas, Coutinho, Jones, Sakho, Toure, Cissokho, Allen, Alberto, Moses, Sterling.
