Wigan have completed the signing of Republic of Ireland international winger James McClean from Sunderland for an undisclosed fee.

Wigan have completed the signing of Republic of Ireland international winger James McClean from Sunderland for an undisclosed fee.

McClean becomes Latics’ 10th signing of the summer, joining the likes of Grant Holt and Leon Barnett in moving from Premier League clubs, as manager Owen Coyle bids to return the FA Cup holders to the top flight at the first attempt.
