Man City rest Joe Hart

Manchester City rested England goalkeeper Joe Hart but still boasted a strong side for their FA Cup fourth-round tie at Stoke.

Costel Pantilimon replaced Hart while Joleon Lescott and Aleksandar Kolarov came in as manager Roberto Mancini made two other defensive changes.

Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko led the line, but Mario Balotelli was missing after illness during the week.

Stoke also switched goalkeepers as Thomas Sorensen started, while full-backs Andy Wilkinson and Ryan Shotton were passed fit to return.
