Four months out for Richards

Manchester City have suffered a major injury blow with news that Micah Richards will miss up to four months – twice as long as had been hoped – following knee surgery.

The 24-year-old had an operation late last night after sustaining the problem in City’s 1-0 Barclays Premier League win over Swansea.
