Leon Britton is a doubt for Swansea’s trip to Manchester United but Angel Rangel is set to return from a hamstring injury at Old Trafford.

Leon Britton is a doubt for Swansea’s trip to Manchester United but Angel Rangel is set to return from a hamstring injury at Old Trafford.

Midfielder Britton is suffering with a knee problem, while full-back Rangel has overcome the injury he picked up slipping on the stairs at home while carrying his 18-month old son.

The problem kept the Spaniard out of last weekend’s 4-4 draw with Wolves, but with Alan Tate (calf) also available, manager Brendan Rodgers is set to return to his favoured 4-3-3 formation.

Kemy Agustien (ankle), Ferrie Bodde (knee) and Andrea Orlandi (calf) are all absent for the Swans.

Provisional squad: Vorm, Williams, Taylor, Caulker, Britton, Graham, Sinclair, Dyer, Routledge, Monk, McEachran, Lita, Moore, Bessone, Rangel, Situ, Allen, Tremmel, Gower, Richards, Sigurdsson, Obeng.
