Fulham hopeful of Jol return

Fulham were today hopeful Martin Jol would be well enough to return to oversee training tomorrow ahead of Sunday’s Barclays Premier League game with Sunderland, it is understood.

Jol had still not recovered sufficiently from a chest infection this morning in order to resume his managerial duties, having missed the club’s last two matches at Everton and Liverpool.
