City face Swans with new centre back pairing

Kolo Toure and Stefan Savic were paired at centre-half as Barclays Premier League leaders Manchester City faced Swansea at the Liberty Stadium.

Toure led the side with regular captain Vincent Kompany and Joleon Lescott sidelined through injury while Mario Balotelli started on his own up front and right-back Micah Richards returned to the starting line-up.
