City wait on Kompany update

Manchester City fear losing Vincent Kompany for at least two weeks after their influential captain was injured in last night’s Europa League loss at Sporting Lisbon.

The Belgium defender limped off just seven minutes into the Barclays Premier League leaders’ 1-0 defeat in the first leg of their last-16 tie against the Portuguese side.
