Adam Drury, Simeon Jackson, Anthony Pilkington and David Fox all came in and there was no place in the hosts’ team for joint top scorer Steve Morison.

Bolton new signing Marvin Sordell had to settle for a place on the bench while Tyrone Mears made his debut seven months after breaking his leg following a summer switch from Burnley.
