Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has until 6pm tomorrow to respond to the violent conduct charge which could result in a four-match ban.

The 21-year-old was charged by the Football Association last night in relation to an incident involving Scott Parker, where he appeared to stamp on the England midfielder’s head after the pair challenged for the ball during Sunday’s 3-2 Barclays Premier League win over Tottenham.
