Gerrard set for lifetime at Anfield

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard will play a key part in the club’s future even long after his playing days have ended, according to director of football Damien Comolli.

The 31-year-old England international signed a new contract extension yesterday which will almost certainly see him end his career at Anfield.
