Toffees tie moved to a Friday

Everton’s FA Cup fourth-round tie at home to Fulham will be played on Friday, January 27.

Neighbours Liverpool host Manchester United in the televised match on Saturday lunchtime so the Toffees have opted for an 8pm kick-off the night before.

The Reds had a similar situation last week when they played Oldham on Friday as Everton had already secured the Saturday slot for their FA Cup tie at home to Tamworth.

In addition, Everton’s Barclays Premier League match with Manchester City has been brought forward to January 31, but will still be screened live in television.
