Gerrard proud after penning deal

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is proud to have signed a contract extension at Anfield.

The 31-year-old England international finalised the deal less than 24 hours after scoring the only goal in the Reds’ 1-0 Carling Cup semi-final first leg victory at Manchester City.
