Bardsley and Larsson start for Black Cats
Martin O’Neill made just two changes to his starting line-up as Sunderland looked to avoid an upset in this afternoon’s FA Cup third round clash against npower Championship side Peterborough at London Road.
Phil Bardsley overcame a thigh injury to return in the place of Jack Colback while Sebastian Larsson started ahead of Nicklas Bendtner.
Lee Tomlin overcame a calf injury to make Peterborough’s team, which also included on-loan Manchester United duo Scott Wootton and Ryan Tunnicliffe.
