Marcos Alonso has been ruled out for four to six weeks and will undergo surgery today to replace a pin in his foot, Bolton manager Owen Coyle has confirmed.
The Spanish full-back limped off in the second half of Wanderers’ game against Blackburn at Ewood Park on Tuesday and left the ground wearing a protective boot.
