Pardew hopes for double injury boost
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew is hopeful of having Fabricio Coloccini and Cheik Tiote available to face Swansea on Saturday.
The pair missed the 4-2 defeat at Norwich through injury as the Magpies suffered a third loss in four games.
But Pardew thinks thigh injury victim Coloccini could be back in time to face the Swans.
âWe donât think heâs too bad â heâs got a chance for next week,â he told the Newcastle Chronicle.
âTiote is a possibility, and thatâll be a big lift,â he added of his midfielder.
But one man set to miss out again is Mike Williamson. The former Watford man has been out since suffering an ankle injury in the Carling Cup clash with Scunthorpe, and his manager says it is âa long shotâ for him to be involved this weekend.
âWilliamson will be a tough call. He hasnât really done much,â he said.
