Quick-fire van Persie pleased with decisive double

Arsenal captain Robin van Persie admitted he was as surprised as anybody else to score after just 29 seconds of the 2-1 win over Sunderland.

Van Persie got both Arsenal’s goals, stunning the Black Cats as he grabbed the lead inside the opening minute before restoring their advantage after Sebastian Larsson’s leveller.
